Training is targeted at students who are committed to badminton and want to make this their sport. Training helps prepare students for competition (locally and nationally) and the high school badminton team. Students are required to attend a certain number of practices a week to qualify for the team.

Fundamentals

The aim of beginner Pickleball classes is to establish a strong groundwork in the sport for newcomers, fostering a sense of comfort and confidence when engaging in matches. Key components covered in these classes include mastering Grip and Stance, honing Basic Strokes, refining Movement and Positioning techniques, understanding Scoring and Rules intricacies, and engaging in targeted Drills and Practice sessions.

Tailored to the needs of intermediate-level players, these sessions offer detailed guidance. They cover advanced strokes, footwork, court coverage, strategy, dinking, serving variations, and drills. This comprehensive approach empowers players to advance confidently in their Pickleball journey.

Moreover, they explore doubles tactics, stressing efficient communication and synchronized movement.

Private Lessons

Private pickleball lessons offer personalized attention and tailored instruction to meet individual player needs and goals. The instructor evaluates your current skill level and areas for improvement, crafting a customized lesson plan to aid in achieving your objectives. Detailed guidance is provided on stroke mechanics, footwork, positioning, and other essential skills. Coaches analyze your playing style and offer strategic insights to enhance decision-making, including shot selection and game planning.

Introduction to Badminton
This program teaches the basic rules, grip, footwork, and strokes (forehand, backhand, serve, clear, drop) to complete beginners.
Badminton Fundamentals
This program builds on the intro course, with a focus on refining strokes, developing footwork patterns, and introducing basic game strategy.
